Abstract
Today, the world is facing many changes in terms of the source of threats and environmental hazards, and these changes have caused all organizations and populations, including the national Red Cross and Red Crescent populations to think about changing the strategy in their work and modify it because environmental hazards It is a part of our lives and a risk-free life is impossible Therefore, due to the importance of the subject in this study, a comparative analysis of the strategies and activities of the Red Crescent population with natural risk strategies in Kurdistan province was performed. For this purpose, SWOT analysis methods, which is a tool for status analysis and strategy formulation, and Geographic Information System (GIS) and methodology of stages of strategic development system of the crescent population and the conceptual method of operation have been used in this research, as well as new strategies. Also, global strategies such as Sendai, Hugo strategies and 2030 strategy were examined. To study the environmental hazards, zoning maps of different natural hazards and statistics and information of various events in Kurdistan province were used. The results showed that hazards such as forest and pasture fires, snow and blizzard, road accidents, floods and urban flooding, mountain accidents, lightning and debris fall were the most common and the reaction of the Red Crescent Society operational teams in Kurdistan province. Is. Based on the expected results and outcomes in the Red Crescent population and risk studies strategies, it is possible to be aware, prepared and responsive to accidents and hazards, especially new hazards, comprehensive, integrated and needs-based education, reduce dependence on government resources and relative financial independence. In the Red Crescent Society and the universality of risk management strategies. Accordingly, despite the new strategies in the Red Crescent population of Kurdistan province, there is a need to build and equip urban centers, awareness of the dangers and comprehensive training of forces.
